Sports Force Parks named "#1 Ballpark With Accessible Fields Every Planner Should See"

Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center has been named the "#1 Ballpark With Accessible Fields Every Planner Should See" by SportsEvents Magazine! Fans took to the magazine’s Facebook page to vote for their top picks. Sports Force Parks was also named one of the "Nine Ballparks Every Planner Should See".

These nine ballparks are shining stars that make players and their families feel like they’ve been sent up to the big leagues. With outstanding fields and amenities, these facilities are outstanding examples of each community’s commitment to youth sports,” says Sherri Middleton, managing editor of SportsEvents Magazine.

VacationLand Federal Credit Union Stadium, the park’s ADA accessible field sponsored by VacationLand Federal Credit Union, has been used to host sports camps, leagues and play days for kids with mental, developmental and physical disabilities. On September 16th, the Michigan State University baseball team will be at the Sports Force Parks Stadium to play games with local kids.

“For many of us who work here, VacationLand Federal Credit Union Stadium is our favorite part of the park, so we were super excited to be recognized for it. Thanks to everyone who voted,” says Molly White, general manager of Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center.

A feature on Sports Force Parks will be in an upcoming issue of SportsEvents Magazine. Check back for updates!
